Zverev Diagnosed at Age Three
Professional German tennis player Alexander Zverev is speaking out about his struggles with Type 1 Diabetes. Zverev was diagnosed with diabetes just three years old. He was told by a match official that he could not inject himself during his Round of 16 match at the French Open.
Zverev has been open about his struggle with diabetes. In 2022, he revealed that he has been suffering from the disease since being diagnosed at the age of three.
