Tennessee Baseball Makes Historic Comeback in Regional Final
The Tennessee Volunteers baseball team is set to make their third appearance in the College World Series in four years, and they're ready to make some noise. The Vols are coming off an incredible comeback victory in the regional final, where they rallied from a 5-1 deficit to win 7-5 in the ninth inning.
Historic Comeback
Tennessee's comeback victory was one for the ages. The Vols trailed 5-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning, but they refused to give up. They rallied for six runs in the inning, capped off by a walk-off home run by Luc Lipcius.
World Series Bound
The Vols' victory sends them to the College World Series, where they will face off against Florida State in the opening round. Tennessee is the No. 2 seed in the tournament, and they will be looking to make a deep run.
